Â鶹Éç places all incoming students into college-level math and English. You can learn more about placement in the current Â鶹Éç Catalog.
If you have Advanced Placement scores from high school or have already completed college-level math or English coursework, please meet with a counselor to determine the best placement for you. Call (209) 588-5109 to schedule.

Send official, sealed transcripts from all of your prior colleges.
High school transcripts are NOT needed by the Admissions & Records Office unless you have taken two years of foreign language with at least a C- in the highest level course, and/or, one year of high school chemistry with at least a B grade. If you meet one or both of these, please request your official high school transcript to be sent to the Admissions and Records Office.
Official Transcripts from Other Colleges, College Board AP Scores or High Schools Â鶹Éç requires new students to submit official transcripts of coursework completed at other colleges, College Board AP Scores and high schools. These official documents are evaluated on a first-come, first-served basis and should be received well in advance of your registration date. High school transcripts are required only if you have been out of high school for five years or less.

These documents will become the property of Columbia College and cannot be reproduced or released for any purpose.
